About This Role

Perform manual work in the care and cleaning of City buildings and grounds under moderate supervision, ensuring facilities are well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, and buff floors
• Clean bathrooms, offices, and special purpose facilities
• Empty trash cans
• Pick up litter in parking lots and other City areas
• Wash windows

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies, and equipment
• Ability to use cleaning equipment economically and efficiently
• Ability to understand oral and written directions
• Ability to read and write

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent
