Credentialed Trainer II - Converge Clinical Informatics

About This Role

This Credentialed Trainer II role involves planning, delivering, and supporting training for assigned clinical applications, ensuring end-users effectively utilize systems. The position collaborates with various teams to identify training needs, supports learning activities, and contributes to process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and deliver training sessions required for successful application implementation and adoption
• Collaborate with end users and training leads to ensure alignment of training with approved workflows and system build plans
• Coordinate coverage for scheduled classes and provide training support as needed
• Prepare training environments, materials, and classrooms to support effective learning
• Assist in maintaining and updating online learning modules and training materials
• Provide in‑person and virtual support to end users, including answering questions and addressing issues during training and post‑training support
• Work with provisioning or access teams to confirm training completion before system access is granted
• Customize and create job aids and training materials using approved templates
• Conduct job shadows and provide hands‑on training and assistance to build user confidence
• Deliver workflow‑based, role‑specific training, including eLearning and interactive sessions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in education, end-user support, training delivery, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in education, end-user support, training delivery, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Associate degree
• Experience working with adult learners and delivering both in‑person and virtual training
• Experience supporting or training users on enterprise and technical applications, including Epic or similar clinical systems
• Experience with instructional design, training content development, or curriculum support
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word)
