About This Role

Serve as a Counter Sales Associate, delivering exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers. Process orders, provide product information, and upsell related products to support construction projects across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and will-call customers
• Process orders, quote prices, and enter orders into the system
• Provide order information to customers and pull orders as required
• Communicate product features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and their applications, providing technical advice and troubleshooting customer problems
• Upsell by identifying related products, add-on extensions, and informing customers of product promotions

Nice to Have

• Demonstrated success providing excellent customer service
• Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products
