Core Technician

About This Role

Conduct environmental monitoring tasks for GMP production of clinical-grade products, focusing on aseptic processing and maintaining cleanroom environments. This role requires night shift work with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Environmental Monitoring process for GMP production of viral therapies
• Perform cell culture and product purification using aseptic technique when required
• Coordinate EM equipment needs with the QC EM team for Manufacturing processes
• Draft, complete, and revise manufacturing documents including Batch Records and EM forms
• Prepare buffer and components, including operation of steam autoclave
• Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment for routine clinical production
• Operate Environmental monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ50, and active counters

Requirements

• Ability to pass Class 10,000 gowning qualification
• Computer software skills including Microsoft Office
• Aseptic technique experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred or High School Diploma
• 1-3 years experience, basic lab experience with a Bachelor's degree or intermediate lab experience within a cGMP clinical production environment with a High School Diploma
