Construction Project Manager - Multifamily

About This Role

This role involves overseeing all aspects of high-density, multi-family residential and mixed-use construction projects. The Project Manager will lead project teams to meet or exceed goals related to design, construction, quality, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of high density, multi-family residential and mixed use projects
• Provide leadership to project teams to meet or exceed project goals related to design, construction, and quality
• Maintain and adhere to project construction schedules, budgets, cost and quality control measures, and safety practices
• Establish and maintain working professional relationships with project design team, field and office personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and governmental agencies
• Assume a leadership role in overseeing the preparation of construction documents
• Administer contracts between Owner and General Contractor and General Contractor and Subcontractors and Vendors
• Manage value engineering efforts for the project
• Prepare and process all paperwork and documents to Owner, project design team, and subcontractors in a timely manner
• Report and provide assistance to the Vice President and President of Construction with project management duties as needed
• Interface with Construction Lender field inspectors

Requirements

• Minimum of five years’ experience in managing all phases of construction of high density residential and mixed use projects
• Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in architecture, engineering, construction science, or other related field OR ten years of applicable and related experience

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in architecture, engineering, construction science, or other related field. Ten years of applicable and related experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in managing all phases of construction of high density residential and mixed use projects
