Construction Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating daily field operations to ensure project milestones are met
• Support the site superintendent and project manager with scheduling, logistics, and subcontractor coordination
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and design specifications
• Conduct site inspections and document progress, issues, and resolutions
• Interface with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
• Maintain accurate records including daily logs, RFIs, change orders, and field reports
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
• Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety policies

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in field engineering or construction site coordination
• Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and project documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in construction management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in field engineering or construction site coordination
