About This Role

This on-site, entry-level Communication Assistant role supports the development and execution of communication strategies to enhance brand presence, strengthen community relationships, and raise public awareness for the organization's mission. The assistant will craft impactful content, prepare presentation materials, and deliver messaging aligned with organizational values.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with community partners, stakeholders, and audiences to advance communication objectives
  • Support the creation of client presentations and participate in public-facing communication efforts designed to support consumer sales
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external events
  • Conduct research to remain current with industry trends, communication methods, and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for communication materials and projects
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, outreach activities, and communication-related initiatives
  • Review and interpret feedback from communication campaigns to help identify areas for improvement
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions to support the development of new communication strategies
  • Assist in maintaining project timelines, deliverables, and budgets when needed
  • Implement direction and feedback from supervisors to enhance communication effectiveness

Requirements

  • Ability to commute to the office Monday–Friday
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Basic public-speaking skills or willingness to develop them

Qualifications

  • Previous experience or internships in communications, marketing, or related fields is a plus but not required.
