Manage commercial lines accounts, assisting with coverage changes, client education, proposal preparation, and policy management. This role focuses on new business acquisition, client retention, and market growth within the insurance sector.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with making coverage changes in an automated environment supported by imaging system
- Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusion and insurance coverage needs
- Provide technical support to Producer(s) to benefit clients and to reach agency's strategic business goals
- Prepare proposals in coordination with producer(s)
- Submit applications to eligible and appropriate carriers
- Manage clients' needs by producing binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items
- Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules and proposals as needed for account review
- Remarket renewals, contact clients, create renewal proposals and handle other renewal activities in coordination with the producer(s)
- Renew policies following agency standards
- Maintain and update electronic and client activity files
Requirements
- 3+ years Commercial Lines Account Manager experience
- Active P&C 2-20 License
Qualifications
- 3+ years Commercial Lines Account Manager experience, 5+ years preferred
