Collective Trainer - Protection

About This Role

Support Mission Command training for military units as a Protection Collective Trainer, maintaining doctrinal currency and manipulating scenarios to meet unit needs, directly contributing to the readiness of warfighters.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a DTT SME in Protection
• Support live and constructive Mission Command training
• Maintain currency with doctrine published by TRADOC
• Ensure TUCs are provided the latest training OPORDs and Scenarios
• Maintain DTT flexibility in team member composition to provide modular training support requirements to low density branches
• Work with the TUC to manipulate the OPORD or scenario to meet the unit's needs and to provide a realistic training event

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Previous senior Army leadership experience with a training management background
• A Combat Arms, Combat Support, or Combat Service Support Officer with primary staff experience in the specific primary War Fighting Function at Battalion or higher
• At least 6 years' combined staff experience within the specific Warfighting Function
• Recent experience working within the ARNG training support system, or a similar system
• 2 or more years working with Warfighting Functional Area Army MCIS

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• At least 6 years' combined staff experience within a specific Warfighting Function, or 8 years' specialized MCTSP experience.

Nice to Have

• CTC experience
• Previous Battalion or higher commander (or similar)
