As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Lift Tech, you will provide essential support to patients, directly contributing to their comfort, safety, and recovery under the direction of an RN. You will deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively participate in the patient's plan of care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care needs
- Notify licensed staff of abnormal vital signs or other patient abnormalities
- Assist with running errands under direction of licensed staff
- Coordinate patients' daily activities per MD orders
- Make rounds on all units at the beginning of the shift to coordinate patient activities
- Utilize excellent body mechanic skills in the performance of all patient lift team operations
Requirements
- 6 months experience in extended care or acute care facility
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Qualifications
- 6 months experience in extended care or acute care facility
Nice to Have
- High School GED or High School Graduate
