The Clinical Supervisor will mentor clinical staff to ensure ethical and high-quality patient care, provide direct team guidance through supervision and performance feedback, and oversee personnel management. This role focuses on clinical integrity, risk mitigation, and strategic operations within a clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Act as a mentor and coach to ensure ethical, consistent, and high-quality care that meets industry best practices.
- Facilitate regular supervision sessions and provide constructive performance feedback to help staff implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Directly supervise clinical staff, focusing on professional accountability and the delivery of superior patient services.
- Lead the tracking and resolution of high-risk case reviews and clinical incidents, ensuring documentation and compliance with internal policies.
- Analyze caseload distribution, patient acuity, and staffing ratios to ensure frequency of care aligns with clinical and regulatory mandates.
- Proactively forecast and manage resources to achieve departmental objectives with maximum efficiency.
- Provide consistent progress reports to stakeholders, detailing strategy shifts and project milestones.
- Serve as a key data provider for the Performance Improvement Team (PIT) to assist in organizational growth and quality tracking.
- Maintain transparent, positive, and collaborative relationships across all levels of management and staff.
- Utilize advanced time management skills to balance core responsibilities with high-priority tasks.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis, Sociology, Human Services, or closely related field
- 3+ years of management experience in a clinical setting
- Valid license in a behavioral healthcare discipline
