About This Role

Conduct assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with substance use disorders within a correctional health care setting. This role supports the reintegration of individuals into the community by providing specialized care and promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis, treatment, and dispositional release
• Diagnose and/or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis
• Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences
• Document and evaluate patients’ progress in treatment

Requirements

• California-licensed clinical social worker
