Clinical Services Manager

About This Role

This role involves training and coaching team members to deliver an excellent patient experience, ensuring quality clinical services, and meeting daily goals within a retail optical center. The Clinical Services Manager supports overall store operational and sales goals, often acting as the Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, identify their needs, and provide information on products and services
• Drive sales to exceed personal and store daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals
• Resolve customer issues and increase customer satisfaction through troubleshooting and training
• Provide supervision and guidance to Doctor's Technicians on diagnostic pre-testing, local mode and digital refraction, and contact lens care
• Ensure all training guidelines, procedures, protocols, and certification requirements are executed at the highest level
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records while ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Coach and train Doctor Technicians on proper insertion and removal of contact lenses for new and existing wearers
• Oversee proper protocols for patient contact lens orders and diagnostic contact lens trials, ensuring maintenance of diagnostic lens inventory

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Passion for exceptional customer/patient care
• Willingness to mentor and train others
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedule requirements
• Knowledge of MS Word, Google Docs, and other basic office tools

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of retail management experience or experience in a clinical leadership role
