Sales Manager (Optical Retail)

About This Role

As a Stanton Optical Sales Manager, you will lead sales efforts, support the Brand Manager in supervising and executing action plans to drive sales performance, and create a positive, results-driven team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to exceed personal and store goals while delivering outstanding customer service experience
• Support Brand Manager duties, frequently acting as Manager on duty
• Support store talent acquisition and talent development, including recruiting and training
• Build strong partnerships with Clinical services
• Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports to ensure staff members achieve desired goals
• Communicate effectively and build strong partnerships with the Support Center and Human Resources
• Ensure proper lab production to achieve "Now Service" and "Ready When Promised"
• Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses
• Ensure brand standards are met in the lab area and notify management of equipment malfunctions
• Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients to ensure 100% compliance

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership ability with at least one year of experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Experience planning and implementing sales strategies and directing a sales team
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
• Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledgeable about MS Word, Google Docs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a fast-paced retail environment with demonstrated leadership ability
