This role is a Claims Customer Service Representative handling inbound calls related to existing homeowner claims, providing solutions, and documenting interactions for an IT services and consulting company.
Responsibilities
- Handle about 40-50 inbound calls per day pertaining to existing homeowner claims
- Navigate between multiple systems to find solutions for customers
- Research through the claim tool to provide accurate information to customers
- Handle escalated calls as needed
- Act as a liaison between Proctor, the homeowner, and the lender
- Update case notes in the Claim system for documentation
- Perform outbound calls when necessary
Requirements
- Working cellphone with service (for dual authentication)
- 1-2 years of Call Center Experience
- Ability to handle difficult conversations
- Efficient in using a Windows PC computer and navigating software systems
- Typing speed of at least 35 WPM
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable transportation
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of Call Center Experience (preferably in escalations, claims, or insurance)
Nice to Have
- Insurance or mortgage experience
- Experience working with auto claims or any type of claims
- Experience working for Medicaid/Medicare
