Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Requirements

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
• Twelve semester units in Child Development, including the core courses of Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, Curriculum, and Principles and Practices

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; AA/BA in Early Childhood Education preferred; Twelve semester units in Child Development including Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, Curriculum, and Principles and Practices (Required)
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
• AA/BA in Early Childhood Education
