Child Care Center Housekeeper

About This Role

The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the childcare center, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children to learn and grow. This role involves janitorial tasks and assisting with general upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building, classrooms, and playground in a clean, safe, orderly condition
• Complete janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, and restrooms
• Gather and empty trash
• Assist in cleaning school equipment, furniture, fixtures, and walls
• Clean restrooms and refill dispensers
• Assist with putting up and removing seasonal decorations and displays throughout the year

Requirements

• Comfortable working around children
• Willingness to learn and grow in a team environment
• Meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements
