Chief Engineer

About This Role

Lead the engineering team across multiple locations for a facility management and building operations client. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of critical building systems and implement maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational management and daily administration of the engineering team across multiple locations
• Ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of critical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment
• Implement reliability-based maintenance programs and oversee mechanical and electrical equipment operations
• Manage contractor activities, oversee infrastructure projects, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Supervise, hire, train, and develop engineering staff to maintain high standards of professionalism and service excellence

Requirements

• Associate Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of facility-related work experience with a focus on customer service excellence
• Proven managerial and supervisory experience leading technical teams
• Knowledge of HVAC, fluid handling, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CMMS systems

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of facility-related work experience with a focus on customer service excellence
