Provide essential pharmacy services, including preparing pharmaceuticals, managing inventory, conducting compliance audits, handling financial transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service, all while supporting the Pharmacist and maintaining pharmacy records.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions
- Review and record patient information with their prescription in compliance with guidelines
- Provide instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicine
- Support the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy
- Protect employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies
Requirements
- Valid ExCPT Certification or PTCB certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy
Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
Nice to Have
- Previous experience working in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy
