About This Role

Provide essential pharmacy services, including preparing pharmaceuticals, managing inventory, conducting compliance audits, handling financial transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service, all while supporting the Pharmacist and maintaining pharmacy records.

Responsibilities

Receive and verify the accuracy and authenticity of prescriptions
Review and record patient information with their prescription in compliance with guidelines
Provide instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicine
Support the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy
Protect employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies

Requirements

Valid ExCPT Certification or PTCB certification and registration with State Board of Pharmacy

Qualifications

High School Degree or GED

Nice to Have

Previous experience working in Retail, Ambulatory, Outpatient, Hospital, Acute Care, or Home Infusion Pharmacy
