Certified Nursing Assistant

About This Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring their comfort, and documenting care. This role involves personal care, housekeeping, and confidential communication with staff to ensure residents' needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily care of residents, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals
• Monitor the resident's physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed
• Document completed tasks such as daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements
• Communicate confidentially and clearly to other staff, including urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrate the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
