About This Role

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will deliver exceptional patient experiences in ambulatory clinics as part of the Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP). This program offers standardized training and the opportunity to rotate through various clinics to find a permanent placement within St. Luke's Health System's Treasure Valley clinics.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in clinic rotations to explore different clinic positions firsthand
  • Gain experience and expertise through comprehensive standardized medical assistant onboarding
  • Work in full-time day shift opportunities
  • Provide support in Primary Care and Specialty Clinic positions

Requirements

  • Current BLS-CPR Certification
  • Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Certifications

BLS-CPR Certification from ASHI, AHA, or American Red Cross (Required) National Certification as a Medical Assistant (NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA) (Required)
