Certified Medical Assistant

About This Role

Provide clinical support to medical and specialty providers at an onsite medical center, performing initial patient assessments, vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments
• Perform patient history documentation
• Perform vital signs procedures
• Perform EKGs
• Perform phlebotomy (blood draws)
• Perform injections
• Manage the stocking of treatment rooms
• Ensure cleanliness of treatment rooms
• Partner with lab facilities to ensure compliance with EHMG policies and procedures and OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years of medical clinical skills
• CPR certification required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with the use of computers
• Ability to perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections consistently and with minimal supervision
• Current and active Medical Assistant certification
