Central Supply Technician

About This Role

Support hospital operations by distributing medical supplies and equipment to clinical and non-clinical units. Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Distribute medical supplies and equipment to hospital departments as required
• Provide direct logistical support to inpatient and outpatient units
• Receive, store, and issue supplies in accordance with hospital procedures
• Operate storeroom and distribution equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle and transport materials, including hazardous supplies, as required
• Maintain accuracy while meeting daily operational deadlines
• Follow safety, infection control, and environmental guidelines
• Support inventory organization and replenishment activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer literacy with the ability to learn new software systems
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of experience in Central Supply or a medical environment preferred

Nice to Have

• Six months of experience in Central Supply or a medical environment
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license
