Center Director

About This Role

Lead and manage the operations of a child care center, fostering a warm and inspiring environment for children and staff. Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children while ensuring compliance with company and state licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage school staff by planning work schedules, evaluating performance, and developing improvement plans
• Assist with the implementation of Company-provided curriculum, coaching and interpreting standards with teachers
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards
• Promote a positive partnership within the surrounding community
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and help children discover new things each day
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Meet state requirements for education and center/school requirements
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent. CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
