Lead the daily operations of a mammography center, ensuring exceptional patient care and efficient workflows while managing staff and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of medical records, front desk, CAD/Reports, and technologists
- Review patient scheduling needs and make necessary changes for diagnostic and screening appointments
- Ensure all incomplete exams are scheduled and followed through with
- Provide medical releases to imaging facilities for prior mammogram films as requested
- Review and follow up on delinquent exam reports monthly
- Track pathology outcomes for needle localizations and BI-RADS 4 & 5 exams
- Oversee ordering of supplies for all procedures and office needs
- Act as point of contact for patient and referring physician concerns, responding quickly to complaints
- Coordinate service and preventative maintenance of equipment, monitoring malfunction data
- Ensure compliance and documentation for obtaining and maintaining state/MQSA mammography license
- Monitor employee work performance and attendance against Solis standards
- Monitor staffing levels and ensure appropriate coverage within budgetary guidelines
- Effectively communicate procedures to patients and educate them on preventative breast health
Requirements
- 5 years healthcare industry experience
- 2 years supervisory experience
- Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Demonstrated outstanding service skills with internal and external customers
- Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- Knowledge of database software and Radiology Information Systems software
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years healthcare industry experience; Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience

- Certification by ARRT in Mammography
- Sectra software experience
