About This Role

Lead daily clinical operations for mammography centers, ensuring outstanding patient care and efficient results as a critical part of a breast health services organization.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, promote, and demonstrate the "Solis Way"
  • Perform mammography and assist with biopsies on an as needed basis
  • Monitor clinical staffing levels
  • Provide excellent patient care, communicate procedures, and provide education to new and existing clinical team members
  • Effectively handle patient complaints and escalate as necessary
  • Assist center director in MQSA compliance for tracking, follow-up, and credentials
  • Ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure supplies are available as needed to meet patient demands
  • Coordinate service and maintenance of equipment to ensure minimal downtime
  • Act as a point of contact for physician offices requiring clinical information and respond within 24 hours

Requirements

  • Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU’s every 3 years
  • 200-documented case numbers every 2 years
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology

Qualifications

  • Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • One-year full-time experience as a Mammography Technologist with documentation of clinical experience and 3D required

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of database software, eRad, Sectra RIS/PACS software
  • Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
