CDL Driver

About This Role

This role involves coordinating and delivering building materials to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and prioritizing safety. The driver will also maintain accurate paperwork and may assist with warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds
• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites
• Follow DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operate with a strong emphasis on safety
• Ensure that manifests and all paperwork are accurate
• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment

Requirements

• Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience with a Class A CDL license

Nice to Have

• Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) certification
• Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations
• Forklift certification
• Spanish language proficiency
