About This Role

Drive a Mobile Mammography van to various sites, ensuring safe transportation of equipment and personnel, and assist with patient registration and administrative tasks for appointments.

Responsibilities

• Operate hospital vehicle to transport Mammography Technologist and equipment to various sites in a safe manner, adhering to Mercy Health policies and DOT regulations
• Complete daily pre-check and post-check maintenance checklist to ensure van and equipment are in working order
• Report any malfunction of the vehicle to management
• Gas vehicle on specified days of the week, maintain cleanliness of van, and stock supplies when necessary
• Meet and greet customers
• Obtain and verify patient demographic information and ensure completion of forms, including copying patient insurance card, Medicare questionnaire, obtaining signed consent form and ABN when necessary

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid State Driver’s License
• CDL Class B
