Carrier Placement Specialist

About This Role

This role involves strategizing placement approaches for complex accounts including evaluating large deductible programs, captives, and layered insurance towers to deliver optimal risk transfer solutions. It requires independent decision-making, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and close collaboration with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant insurance experience
• Property & Casualty license in state of residence
• Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and accept directions
• Proficient with MS Office products (Excel and Word)
• Experience with Agency Management Systems

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant insurance experience required

Nice to Have

• Emphasis on mid-to-large commercial account placements
• Pursuit of a professional designation (CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, CPCU)
• Experience with a broker/agent, including marketing accounts to carriers
• Excellent knowledge of markets and strong negotiation skills
• Applied Epic experience
