About This Role

Join Virginia Mason Franciscan Health as a highly motivated and compassionate Cardiovascular Technologist, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance
  • Meticulously prepare patients for examinations
  • Operate advanced radiologic equipment
  • Contribute critical data for interpretation
  • Ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment
  • Maintain mastery of the latest standards and protocols
  • Prepare equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols
  • Deliver patient care for all age groups while in performing exams/procedures
  • Maintain records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements
  • Perform incidental general office duties to include, but not limited to answering phones; inventory management

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of recent related work experience or practical education/training, OR Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology and one year of work experience in the core level of the job
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and license to practice in Washington State, OR American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and Washington State Certification
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Cardiovascular Technology
  • 1 year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training in Radiological Technology, or 1 year of work experience in the core level of Cardiovascular Technology

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) (Required) American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) (Required) Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification (Required) Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (Required) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) (Required)
