Join Virginia Mason Franciscan Health as a highly motivated and compassionate Cardiovascular Technologist, utilizing cutting-edge imaging technology to directly impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Expertly perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance
- Meticulously prepare patients for examinations
- Operate advanced radiologic equipment
- Contribute critical data for interpretation
- Ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment
- Maintain mastery of the latest standards and protocols
- Prepare equipment/room to capture appropriate image, per physicians’ direction and in adherence to department protocols
- Deliver patient care for all age groups while in performing exams/procedures
- Maintain records and logs as required by department protocols and licensure requirements
- Perform incidental general office duties to include, but not limited to answering phones; inventory management
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology and one year of recent related work experience or practical education/training, OR Graduation from an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology and one year of work experience in the core level of the job
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 1 (RCIS) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and license to practice in Washington State, OR American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and Washington State Certification
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology or Cardiovascular Technology
- 1 year of recent related work experience which may be obtained through practical education/training in Radiological Technology, or 1 year of work experience in the core level of Cardiovascular Technology
