Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) Registered Nurse

About This Role

Provide expert nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) who are recovering from cardiovascular surgery and other critical heart-related conditions, requiring precision, empathy, and advanced clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to CVICU patients
• Monitor vital signs and respond to emergencies promptly
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with best practices and physician orders
• Document patient data accurately and maintain clear communication with healthcare staff and family members
• Ensure all CVICU protocols and safety standards are rigorously followed during night shifts

Requirements

• Current RN license with cardiovascular or critical care nursing experience
• Proven ability to manage complex patient care in a high-acuity setting
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Flexibility to work night shifts during the contract assignment
