About This Role

Provide expert nursing care in a critical cardiovascular intensive care setting, supporting patients through complex and acute cardiac conditions. This contract opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries and procedures
• Administer medications, manage post-operative care, and recognize changes in patient conditions promptly
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and families about treatments, recovery processes, and health maintenance

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) or similar critical care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills specific to cardiovascular patients
• Ability to manage complex medical equipment and monitor cardiac patients closely
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
