Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator - Registered Nurse

About This Role

As a Cardiopulmonary Educator, you will use your clinical skills as a Registered Nurse to educate patients and caregivers on complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies, providing infusion training and clinical support to simplify healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team to coordinate patient care plans
• Work within a highly specialized area of nursing with autonomy in home care service
• Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH
• Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting
• Participate in the on-call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4-6 weeks

Requirements

• Reside within one hour of Philadelphia International airport
• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in PA with ability to obtain additional multi-state licensure
• Two years of experience in critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions OR two years of high-tech home infusion experience
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Ability to build positive business relationships with medical/clinical personnel
• Ability to travel as required
• Maintain current CPR certification
• Possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance

Qualifications

• RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing
• Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.
