Supervise community recreation programs at Pasco Middle School, ensuring the safety of facilities, staff, and participants, and managing program records and public interactions.
Responsibilities
- Supervise safety of facility, program staff, and participants (ages 5-13)
- Generate assigned records and reports
- Deal with the public
- Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Push or pull heavy objects
Requirements
- Maturity of judgment
- Proven leadership ability
- Experience in teaching/leading recreational activities
- One (1) year of college or equivalent training/certifications
- Three (3) seasons of experience in summer recreation or recreation complex program
Qualifications
- One (1) year of college or equivalent training/certifications related to the position
- Three (3) seasons of experience in summer recreation or recreation complex programs, or two seasons combined with one year of college.
Nice to Have
- Valid CPR certification
- Valid First-Aid certification
