CA Staff Pharmacist

About This Role

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering patient care, supporting the Pharmacy Manager, and overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations. This position involves active involvement in patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff
• Accountable for supporting the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy
• Ensure patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance
• Manage inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow
• Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
• Lead with Heart by displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Motivate, inspire and develop Pharmacy Support Staff
• Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth
• Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
• Actively contribute to a 'team' culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
