About This Role

A Busser at Soho House is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and structured experience for members and guests. This role supports waiting staff by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring flatware and plates are available, and assisting with guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Detail all tables before service begins, ensuring place settings are neat and organized and candles are on the tables
• Ensure appropriate table setting and china is used for various services throughout the day
• Stock all stations upon arrival and maintain throughout service, working with the team to keep the bread warmer full and neat
• Maintain section and ensure bread and water is delivered upon guests’ arrival while also assisting other sections when applicable
• Clear tables plates, silver/glassware between each course and subsequently wipe down and re-set table for new guests
• Polish silverware and pot wash and store according to local standards
• Complete side work before and after service
• Ensure the cabinet and shelf in the bar area are full before service (glassware - silverware - plate ware)
• Remove all dirty linen from station and ensure trash is empty and clean

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in similar role
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Detail oriented ability to multitask and deliver results in demanding and fast-paced environments
• Basic verbal communication skills
