This role involves advocating payment processing solutions to business owners nationwide, focusing on B2B relationship building and new merchant account acquisition. The consultant will present cost-saving proposals and collaborate with sales managers to onboard clients, aiming to drive sales and enhance customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new merchant accounts within assigned territory through door-to-door networking, pre-set appointments, referrals, and other prospecting methods
- Present and demonstrate the value and benefits of Horizon Payments' services to potential decision-makers
- Effectively communicate with decision-makers and present cost-saving proposals with the support of internal sales managers
- Collaborate with internal sales managers to sign new accounts, drive sales, and ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients
- Maintain accurate records of interactions/activities, pipeline status, and action plans in the CRM system
Requirements
- Comfortable speaking with clients and presenting
- Able to work independently and in a team setting
- Communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction
- Self-motivated and able to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers
Qualifications
- Entry level, sales and business development experience is a plus but not required
