Business Planning & Analysis Manager - Clean Products

About This Role

The BP&A Manager for Clean Products West is responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decisions and operational efficiency within the division. This role partners with the commercial trading function to explain financial and commercial performance and drives business performance through effective use of data.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed operational and financial performance insights for Clean Products West Division, highlighting areas for improvement and value creation.
• Bridge indicative operational P&Ls to GAAP financial P&Ls.
• Track real-time operational and market indicators to gain insights into current period financial performance and anticipate financial results.
• Accountable for monthly and annual financial planning processes, leveraging operating plans to create flexible financial forecasts.
• Act as a liaison between Clean Products and the Finance/IT organizations to align financial and accounting activities.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing BP&A team, setting goals and direction aligned with MPC strategic pillars and objectives.
• Create a formal development program to increase the team’s business acumen and analytical skills, providing coaching and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
• 8 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Products
