This role involves interpreting user requirements, translating payor and regulatory needs, delivering training, and analyzing business intelligence requests to create complex reports and dashboards for the HealthVine network, supported by Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The position plays a key part in leveraging data to improve children's health outcomes effectively and affordably.
Responsibilities
- Gather, prepare, and analyze user requirements to create complex reports and simple to moderate dashboards
- Participate in technical code reviews and perform change management for reporting system modifications
- Translate business user questions into data solutions, utilizing and contributing to the CCHMC information glossary
- Provide end-user training and create educational materials for new hires or system changes
- Plan and execute testing plans for new solutions
- Manage assigned tasks, communicate status effectively, and prioritize deliverables
- Analyze Business Intelligence requests to align with existing tools and processes
- Troubleshoot and support Business Intelligence solutions, escalating unresolved issues promptly
- Coordinate communication between internal and external parties on assigned tasks and related issues
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

Nice to Have
- Experience with Epic Slicer Dicer, Caboodle, Clarity
- Experience with BI Visualization Tools (MS Power BI and Fabric, Tableau, Qlik)
- Familiarity/Experience with data virtualization (Denodo)
- Familiarity/Experience with Data Governance concepts and processes
- Experience with version control tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
