Business Intelligence Analyst

About This Role

Lead the analytical strategy for a major retail digital transformation by partnering with stakeholders, designing executive dashboards, and performing deep-dive analysis. This role will help shape data-driven decision-making and ensure measurable business value from a new data lakehouse.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across merchandising, marketing, operations, and finance to gather and translate analytical requirements
• Design and deliver executive level dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar tools
• Perform deep dive and ad hoc analysis that influences strategic decisions
• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering to align pipelines and data models with business needs
• Build strong understanding of retail data and operational workflows
• Promote a data driven culture through training, enablement, and best practices
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives

Requirements

• Experience as an Analytics Manager, BI Analyst, or similar role
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Advanced Excel capability
• Expertise in at least one major BI or data visualization platform
• Strong communication skills across technical and non technical audiences
