Business Director - GenAI Management Strategy

About This Role

As a Business Director, you will apply strategic and analytical skills to develop frameworks for managing Generative AI and Model risk within Capital One. This role involves leading and collaborating with professionals to create and execute risk management practices, ultimately impacting the company's bottom line.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One
• Assume ownership mindset, potentially with P&L accountability for a business segment and strategic planning with a 1-6 month horizon
• Manage and develop a team of analysts, coaching and mentoring associates to develop and retain talent
• Develop an understanding of how different components of AI and Agentic systems work together
• Coordinate across the line of business to manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements, and execute against product strategy
• Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently
• Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance to drive improvement
• Foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and consistently deliver results

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in analysis
• Proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics
• Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity
• Solid people leadership experience
• Strong executive communication skills
• Clear results orientation
• Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
• At least 7 years of experience in analysis
