This Business Development Associate role focuses on driving new business growth for Clarivate's Life Sciences & Healthcare team by identifying, qualifying, and advancing sales opportunities for data, analytics, and intelligence solutions. The associate will work closely with senior sales leaders to engage decision-makers and contribute to successful deal progression.
Responsibilities
- Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and strategic follow-up on inbound leads
- Engage senior decision-makers across life sciences and healthcare organizations to understand business challenges and priorities
- Qualify prospects and collaborate with sales executives to advance opportunities toward close
- Research target accounts, identify key stakeholders, and build informed outreach strategies
- Maintain and expand a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities within your assigned territory
- Support active deals by contributing insights, coordinating next steps, and helping drive momentum through the sales cycle
- Accurately document activities, opportunities, and progress within Salesforce
- Achieve activity, pipeline, and revenue-influencing targets aligned to quarterly goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Comfort engaging senior-level stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual meetings
- Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar tool) and MS Office Suite
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

- Degree in sciences
- Selling Software and Services into the Life Science and/or pharmaceutical sectors
