This position supports the budgeting process for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Health System, focusing on developing, maintaining, and reporting financial budgets and forecasts. The role involves processing large quantities of financial information to evaluate costs and project outcomes, and collaborating with various departments to facilitate financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support the Budget process for the OSU Health System under the direction of the Budget Manager
- Develop, maintain, and report financial budgets and forecasts utilizing software systems like StrataJazz and Workday
- Process large quantities of information to evaluate costs, benefits, and project outcomes
- Analyze and solve financial problems
- Communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
- Interact with Financial Services and various Medical Center departments on operating budget and management reporting
- Work with administrative management to report health system financial information that facilitates financial decision making
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2 years of budgeting and/or financial analysis experience
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Ability to process large quantities of information
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and communicate effectively
