Bridge Engineer

About This Role

The Project Engineer will work within the Transportation and Infrastructure Unit, focusing on bridge engineering projects. This role involves reviewing designs, coordinating schedules, and preparing technical reports while adhering to project budgets.

Responsibilities

• Review design computations and drawings
• Review project submittals and coordinate various design schedules
• Prepare and review project specifications and written technical reports
• Maintain appropriate documentation of work and project records
• Develop technically accurate, clean, and deliverable drawings
• Perform quality work while adhering to project budgets
• Oversee a project team of engineers and technicians
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the preparation of documents for multiple major projects

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in engineering
• B.S. in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, with reciprocity in multiple states
• Thorough knowledge of current principles and practices of engineering related to transportation and infrastructure
