This role will shape and execute end-to-end brand strategies for Capital One, focusing on associate engagement and brand advocacy, driving measurable results and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the team act against strategic plans, positioning and messaging
- Tie together marketing and business results
- Work across multiple teams and channels to build relationships for impact
- Review and approve creative proposals
- Provide direction to creative teams regarding feedback and expectations
- Anticipate and proactively address obstacles as a strategic thought partner
- Be a beacon of brand consistency that enables our marketing and communications to be recognized and remembered by the audience
- Partner with and influence marketing and internal business leaders to understand needs, positively influencing marketing strategy and the customer experience
- Use expert knowledge marketing trends and translate business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
- Understand the intended audience to develop targeted marketing messages
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in brand strategy or marketing
- 8+ years of experience in project management
- 8+ years of experience working with creative teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
- At least 8 years of experience in brand strategy or marketing, project management, and working with creative teams
Nice to Have
- 4+ years of experience in creating and delivering presentations
- 4+ years of experience working with a Fortune 500 brand
- Experience with communication strategy and/or event marketing
