Brand Manager

About This Role

This Brand Manager role focuses on optimizing marketing and sales resources to maximize brand development and revenue for an assigned brand. The role involves integrating supplier marketing programs, monitoring sales results, and assisting the sales team in achieving goals.

Responsibilities

• Build strong working relationships with assigned supplier representatives
• Assist in developing annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans with suppliers
• Communicate plans to the sales department via meetings and other communication forms
• Use analysis of internal sales reports, industry information and supplier data to build plans and monitor results
• Create sales incentive programs, track and review results with Sales manager and recommend course correction when needed
• Work with marketing/sales manager to develop marketing plans and adhere to supplier marketing budgets
• Negotiate supplier co-op programs
• Assist in the tracking of supplier tactical co-op budgets
• Work with suppliers and company representatives in the market to ascertain program effectiveness and identify other potential opportunities
• Develop and make presentations to key customers as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 3 years of experience in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required
• (3) year of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have

• Ability to communicate enthusiasm for the product and category
• Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
• Experience working for supplier
