About This Role

Lead and manage a team of mortgage loan officers, providing guidance and support to achieve performance goals. Drive business growth through client relationships and strategic direction in the mortgage industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a team of mortgage loan officers
• Provide guidance, training, and support to loan officers to meet and exceed performance goals
• Leverage product expertise in loan and mortgages to provide strategic direction and drive business growth
• Ensure superior customer service is delivered at all times, addressing and resolving client issues promptly and professionally
• Drive the capture rate by implementing effective strategies to convert leads into closed mortgage deals
• Oversee all aspects of the closing process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and delivering a smooth experience for clients
• Manage real estate transactions, coordinating with various parties to ensure successful completion
• Continuously monitor industry trends and developments, adjusting strategies as necessary to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry
• At least 2 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
• Extensive knowledge of loan products and the mortgage process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Demonstrated ability to drive capture rate and close deals
• Experience managing real estate transactions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the mortgage industry, including at least 2 years as a mortgage loan officer and a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or management role.
