This role is for a Bone Marrow Transplant Physician to further develop and grow the established Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Immunotherapy Program at MedStar Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. The program is rapidly growing and is seeking additional transplant/immune effector cell therapy physicians to work with nationally recognized experts.
Responsibilities
- Further develop and grow the established Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Immunotherapy Program into a destination site
- Collaborate with NCI consortium partner Hackensack Meridian Health John Theurer Cancer Center (JTCC)
- Utilize an ideal platform for clinical and translational research in the field
- Work with nationally recognized hematologic malignancies and BMT/IEC teams
Requirements
- BC/BE Hematologist or Medical Oncologist with interest in Stem Cell Transplant/Cell Therapy
- BC/BE Immunologists with appropriate clinical experience will also be considered
- Minimum of one year of supervised clinical training in transplantation OR two years as an attending physician responsible for the clinical management of both inpatient and outpatient transplant patients
- Clinical experience in transplant and cellular immunotherapy

Nice to Have
- Prior research experience in transplant or cellular immunotherapy
