Bilingual Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney

About This Role

Manage personal injury cases from pre-suit through litigation for a law firm serving a diverse, Spanish-speaking client base. This role involves drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, handling discovery, and appearing in court to effectively advance and resolve cases.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses under the supervision of senior attorneys
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on liability, damages, and procedural issues
• Handle pre-suit investigations, reviewing accident reports, medical records, and insurance documents
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather facts, and explain legal processes
• Prepare settlement demands and assist in negotiating with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters
• Attend and conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and medical providers
• Make court appearances for hearings, status conferences, and motions
• Assist with trial preparation, including witness outlines, exhibit lists, and jury instructions
• Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with court orders and firm protocols

Requirements

• Member of the Florida Bar
• 6+ months – 1 year of personal injury experience in pre-suit and litigation matters
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills
