Bilingual Banking Representative

About This Role

Provide outstanding customer service to credit union members via phone or email, resolving inquiries, performing account maintenance, and identifying opportunities to deepen member relationships. This role focuses on promoting member satisfaction and adherence to credit union policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to promote deep and lasting member relationships
• Answer general inquiries and perform account maintenance via phone or email channels
• Meet/exceed key critical metrics
• Research and resolve problems under the mentorship of the Supervisor or Lead with a sense of urgency
• Take ownership of member concerns, set expectations, and provide timely follow-up/resolution
• Identify opportunities to offer additional credit union products, promotions, and services to members and generate referrals
• Maintain knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Member-centric with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Minimum of a high school diploma
• 1+ year experience in call center customer service
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software and standard office equipment
• Familiarity and comfort with online systems and other technology

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; some college course work preferred; degree highly desirable.
• 1+ year experience in call center customer service
